I still like the finale because it left it open for the movies.

Well Continuum was the better of the two but I'm just sick of time travel. But the audio diary from Ben Browder was a nice touch (what he did for the 10 years before Ba'al activated the gate).

I'm working my way through the 10 seasons of SG-1 and also have Atlantis which I haven't watched yet. Frankly I prefer Star Trek, a lot of Trek storylines seem to be recycled on this show, but it's still entertaining. I have reviews of the first two seasons on my blog.

Teal'c got no love in the premier episode of Stargate Universe. Tapster, Shanks, and RDA were there. . . even Walter made it, but still no Teal'c.

Did anyone watch Universe? I have yet to see an episode. I might dl the series, all two years of it.

Hmmm. I would say watch the first few eps and see how you go. No way comparable with SG-1 or even the few eps I've seen of Atlantis.

I sat through the first season while not enjoying it, but gave up minutes into the second.

Stargate in general just wasn't the same without MacGyver.

Imho, Stargate Universe was a very poor attempt to make the Stargate-verse look like the new BSG - and they failed miserably. I was so bored by Universe that I gave up on the show after 5 episodes.

SG-1 and Atlantis were so much better and more entertaining...
